Blue and off white Geometric Dhurrie Market Bag with Leather Straps
The last bag you will ever need for shopping! Use this bag for errands, Farmers Market, or a quick out of town trip. I used a Dhurrie rug from India to create a bag for everything from groceries to everyday shopping. I cut the straps long enough to go over your shoulder with room to store your purchases.
Brown leather straps, 13" drop, that will last! I used 8/10 oz leather, hand cut and finished here in San Antonio and fastened with solid copper rivets. I use 3-ply nylon thread and double stitch the sides. Each bag is a one of a kind original Market Bag. Inside has a leather pocket for quick access to your phone or cash and a solid brass D ring for your keys.
I order my textiles from United Artisans in Jaipur. If you are interested in their product, please send me an email. The rug is woven in a small remote village. My leather is sourced from a leather Company in Arkansas. The third photo is a great photo of me trying to make a decision. I always spend sooo long matching up leather and rugs that it seems I sew faster.
The Market Bag is the answer to 'paper or plastic' now you can answer 'neither'. Your future bag measures 22" wide at the top, 13 " tall and 4 " base. Brown leather straps are 1 " wide and have an 10" drop to the top of the bag.
